The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can access their results through the DigiLocker Results Portal at https://results.digilocker.gov.in/.
The examination was conducted for three categories of Class XII students:
- Compartment Candidates: Students who could not secure the qualifying marks in one of the five mandatory subjects.
- Candidates with Six Subjects: Students who were declared passed by replacing a main subject with an additional subject but wished to appear again in the main subject in which they had not secured the qualifying marks.
- Improvement Candidates: Students who had already passed the examination but wanted to improve their performance in one subject.
Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026: Key Statistics
A total of 2,91,576 candidates registered for the CBSE Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026, while 2,75,287 candidates appeared for the examination.
Of the candidates who appeared:
- 1,11,056 candidates appeared under the Improvement category.
- 1,64,231 candidates appeared under the Compartment category.
- The pass percentage in the Compartment category was 53.08%.
The Compartment category pass percentage has increased compared with 38.36% in 2025.
School-Wise Results and Digital Documents
CBSE will communicate school-wise results to schools through their registered email addresses. Schools can also access the digital academic documents of their students through the repository using the credentials already provided by CBSE.
Students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools abroad will also be able to access their results and digital academic documents through DigiLocker.
Printed Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates
Printed Mark Sheet-cum-Passing Certificates of regular students, including students studying abroad, will be supplied through their respective schools.
Private candidates will receive their digital academic documents through DigiLocker, while printed documents will be sent to their registered addresses. Private candidates under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices may collect their printed documents from the examination centres from which they appeared.
Post-Result Services
CBSE has stated that details regarding post-result facilities will be notified separately through an official circular.
