The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued Reminder 3 to all affiliated schools, highlighting that only 4 days remain for the submission of registration data for Class IX and XI students for the academic session 2025–2026.
The Board reiterates that the last date for submission with normal fee is October 16, 2025, and schools must ensure 100% registration of students without any errors or omissions.
In its previous circulars (including Notification No. CBSE/REGN/2025–2026, dated 11.09.2025), CBSE urged schools to:
- Submit accurate student information
- Enter correct subject details opted by each student
- Ensure no student remains unregistered
CBSE has once again emphasized the importance of data accuracy, reminding schools that mistakes in registration can lead to serious complications during future board examinations. The Board is already making extensive efforts to collect accurate data for all students, but schools must take equal responsibility.
“Schools should be equally responsible and sensitive towards ensuring the accuracy of registration data to avoid issues in future,” stated Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE.
All principals have been urged to finalize and submit registration data strictly within the prescribed timeline. Any delays or errors may result in non-acceptance of student details at later stages.
This circular has been shared with regional directors and heads of key educational organizations — including KVS, NVS, EMRS, Sainik Schools, AWES, and others — to ensure widespread dissemination and compliance across all CBSE-affiliated schools.
