The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official notice regarding the process for verification of marks, re-evaluation, and obtaining answer book photocopies for students who appeared in the Class X and XII Supplementary Examinations 2025.
The Class XII supplementary results were declared on 01 August 2025, and now students have the opportunity to request the following:
Step-by-Step Process:
Stage 1: Request for Scanned Photocopy of Answer Book
- Students must first request scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets to see how their answers were marked.
- Applications must be submitted online only through the CBSE portal.
- Only candidates themselves can apply (cyber cafés or third parties are not allowed).
- The scanned copies will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Stage 2: Verification of Marks
- Only students who apply for photocopies can proceed to verification of marks.
- Verified marks will be updated in the candidate’s CBSE login account.
- If any increase or decrease in marks is found, a new mark sheet will be issued after surrendering the old one.
- The outcome will be final and binding.
Stage 3: Re-evaluation
- Re-evaluation is open only to those who’ve obtained the scanned copy.
- Students may challenge evaluation of specific questions at a fee of ₹100 per question.
- The relevant marking scheme and question paper will be provided for reference.
- The final re-evaluation marks will be binding, and no further appeals will be entertained.
General Guidelines:
- All processes are strictly online.
- Only one application per candidate per step is allowed.
- CBSE will not entertain incomplete or offline applications.
- Processing fees are non-refundable.
- A decrease in marks will be reflected even if it’s by a single mark.
