The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released another official update regarding the Class XII Board Examinations in the Middle East region.
This circular follows the earlier notifications issued on 01 March 2026, 03 March 2026, and 05 March 2026, addressing the disruptions in board examinations across certain Middle East countries.
After conducting a detailed review of the current situation in the region, CBSE has decided to postpone the Class XII board examinations scheduled for 09 March 2026 (Monday), 10 March 2026 (Tuesday), and 11 March 2026 (Wednesday).
The decision applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in the following countries:
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
According to the Board, revised examination dates for these postponed papers will be announced later.
CBSE has further stated that the situation will be reviewed again on 10 March 2026, after which the Board will decide on the status of examinations scheduled from 12 March 2026 onwards.
Students appearing for CBSE Class XII board exams in these Middle East regions are advised to remain in close contact with their respective schools and follow official CBSE announcements for further updates.
The circular has been issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE, and the information has also been shared with Indian embassies and consulates in the concerned countries.
