The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a live virtual event for the launch of the Guidelines of School Management Committee (SMC).
This important session will be led by the Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, on 06 May 2026 at 14:55 PM.
CBSE has invited school heads, teachers, and management members to actively participate in this live launch. The session will focus on strengthening the role of School Management Committees (SMCs) in improving school governance, transparency, and overall functioning.
The newly introduced SMC guidelines aim to:
• Improve school-level decision making
• Encourage community participation in education
• Ensure better accountability and transparency
• Support schools in implementing effective management practices
Participants will get an opportunity to understand how these guidelines can be applied practically in schools to enhance administration and student outcomes.
