The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially started the online portal for students of Class XII to apply for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Questions for the 2026 Board Examination results.
According to the CBSE circular dated June 2, 2026, students who had previously applied for and received scanned copies of their evaluated answer books can now proceed with the second stage of the post-result declaration process.
The portal will remain active from June 2, 2026 (Tuesday) to June 6, 2026 (Saturday) till midnight.

What Can Students Request for Verification?
Students can report the following issues after reviewing their scanned answer books:
- Missing pages
- Missing supplementary sheets
- Missing maps or graphs
- Blurred pages
- Answer book belonging to another student
- Evaluation based on the marking scheme of a different question paper set
Re-evaluation Facility
Students who are not satisfied with the evaluation can also request re-evaluation of one or more questions. They can select multiple subjects and questions during the application process.
How to Apply?
- Visit the CBSE Post Result Portal.
- Login using your credentials.
- Choose either:
- Verification of Issues Observed
- Re-evaluation of Questions
- Or both facilities
- Select the relevant subjects and questions.
- Complete the online payment.
- Submit the application.
CBSE has clarified that only students who obtained scanned copies of their answer books are eligible to apply for verification and re-evaluation.
The Board has also advised students to carefully select all subjects and questions before submitting the application, as only one application for each facility will be accepted.
This initiative is part of CBSE’s efforts to ensure transparency, fairness, and accuracy in the evaluation process while providing students an opportunity to address genuine concerns regarding their results.
