The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important update regarding the post-result declaration facilities for Class XII students. As per the latest circular dated June 2, 2026, the portal for applying for Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Questions is now live with an added Aadhaar verification step for enhanced security.
According to CBSE, Aadhaar authentication has been introduced to ensure secure access to the re-evaluation and verification process. Students applying through the portal will be required to complete Aadhaar-based verification before submitting their applications.
CBSE has also clarified that students who do not possess an Aadhaar card need not worry. In such cases, applicants may use the Aadhaar details of a parent, guardian, or close relative to complete the verification process.
However, while using another person’s Aadhaar, the applicant must ensure that the Aadhaar Name, Date of Birth, and Gender entered in the application exactly match the details of the Aadhaar holder whose number is being used.
The Board has implemented this additional verification layer to strengthen security and streamline the application process for students seeking verification of issues observed in their scanned answer books or requesting re-evaluation of specific questions.
Students are advised to keep their Aadhaar details ready before accessing the portal and carefully follow all instructions provided by CBSE during the application process.
