The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially launched the portal for Verification of Issues Observed in Scanned Copies of Answer Books and Re-evaluation of Answers for Class XII students.
According to the latest press release issued on June 2, 2026, eligible students can submit their applications online from June 2 to June 6, 2026 (midnight). The facility is available only to those students who have already obtained scanned copies of their evaluated answer books under the post-result declaration process.
CBSE has introduced this facility to provide students with an opportunity to review their evaluated answer books and seek correction of specific issues or request re-evaluation of answers if they are not satisfied with the assessment.
Aadhaar-Based Login Mandatory
Students must log in through the CBSE portal using Aadhaar verification. The Board has made Aadhaar authentication mandatory to ensure security and authenticity during the application process.

Issues Eligible for Verification
Students can request verification for the following issues:
- Missing pages in the answer book
- Missing supplementary sheets
- Missing maps or graphs
- Blurred scanned pages
- Incorrect answer book provided
- Evaluation using a different question paper set or marking scheme
Multiple issues and multiple subjects can be selected within a single application.
Re-evaluation Facility
Students may also apply for re-evaluation of one or more questions across different subjects. While applying, candidates must provide relevant details such as question number and page number wherever required.
CBSE has advised students to carefully review all selected subjects and questions before final submission because once the “Freeze and Proceed to Payment” option is clicked, no changes can be made.
Important Guidelines
- The entire application process is online.
- Only one application is allowed for Verification of Issues.
- Only one application is allowed for Re-evaluation.
- Applications will be considered valid only after successful online payment.
- Payment can be made through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
- No offline applications will be accepted.
CBSE has also provided a visual guide and tutorial video to help students understand the application process and submit their requests without difficulty.
