The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the online application process for Private Candidates appearing in the Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026 under the Compartment (3rd Chance) category.
The application process began on 30 June 2026, and eligible candidates must submit their examination forms through the official CBSE website within the prescribed schedule. Only candidates who complete the online application along with the required examination fee will be permitted to appear in the supplementary examination.
This circular applies to:
- Students who appeared as regular candidates in 2024–25 or private candidates in 2025–26 and received a Compartment result.
- Regular students of 2025 who are eligible for the third chance can apply only under the Private Candidate category.
CBSE has advised students to complete the application process before the deadline, as no requests will be accepted after the application window closes.
The Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026 will be conducted on 28 July 2026 (Tuesday) based on the 2025–26 CBSE syllabus. Admit card release dates will be announced separately.
Students facing technical issues while submitting the application can contact the IT Branch of their respective CBSE Regional Office for assistance.
Candidates who successfully clear the compartment examination will receive a consolidated marksheet from CBSE.
