In line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched 14 new Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) to enhance Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of teachers. - Subject-Specific CBPs: Hindi, Sanskrit, Painting, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, English, Economics.
- Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) Programs: Middle and Secondary stages for subjects including Mathematics, Social Science, Science, Hindi, and English.
- Generic CBPs: Value Education Through Sports and STEM Education in Teaching and Learning, designed for educators across all grades.
- Focus Areas: Knowledge & practice, learner-centric pedagogy, critical thinking, real-world applications, creative and interdisciplinary teaching aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023.
