The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Reminder 2 for all affiliated schools regarding the submission of registration data for Class IX and XI for the academic session 2025–2026.
As per the circular, the last date for submission with normal fee is October 16, 2025, leaving schools with only five days to complete the process.
In its earlier notification (Circular No. CBSE/REGN/2025–2026, dated 11.09.2025), CBSE had emphasized the importance of:
- Submitting correct student details
- Entering accurate subjects opted by students
- Ensuring 100% student registration
The Board has expressed concern that despite repeated reminders, some schools delay or make errors in data submission, which later leads to serious issues for students during Board Examination processes.
“There is a dire need that schools should be equally responsible and sensitive towards data accuracy,” stated Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE.
CBSE is making every effort to ensure proper and complete data collection for all registered students. Schools are once again directed to finalize and submit their registration data strictly within the given schedule and avoid any last-minute errors.
This circular has also been sent to regional directors, education bodies, and government organizations (KVS, NVS, EMRS, Sainik Schools, AWES, and others) for wider dissemination and compliance.
