The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to host its 3rd National Summit on ‘Facilitating School to Work Transition’ on 23rd August 2025 (Saturday) at the B.S.A. Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Vandalur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The summit will run from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and will also be live-streamed on the official CBSE Skill Unit YouTube Channel for wider participation.

Highlights of the Summit
- Inaugural Session: To be presided over by Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
- Expert Talks: Eminent personalities from diverse fields including Aerospace, Automotive, Finance, Hospitality, Fashion, Media (Dance, Animation, Sound), and IT will share insights.
- Student-Centric Exhibition: Display of students’ work showcasing innovation and creativity.
- Interactive Sessions: Special sessions planned for both students and teachers to enhance skill-building and career awareness.
Objective of the Summit
The summit aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace readiness. It will focus on career pathways, skill enhancement, and real-world applications, in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
CBSE has urged Principals and Heads of affiliated schools to participate in this unique summit, either physically in Chennai or virtually via the live stream.
