After reviewing the current situation in parts of the Middle East, CBSE has now decided to postpone the examinations scheduled for 05 March 2026 and 06 March 2026 for both Class X and Class XII students.
The decision applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in the following countries:
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
According to the Board, new dates for the postponed examinations will be announced later.
CBSE has further stated that it will review the situation again on 05 March 2026 and take appropriate decisions regarding the examinations scheduled from 07 March 2026 onwards.
Students appearing for CBSE board examinations in these regions are advised to stay in regular contact with their schools and follow official CBSE announcements for the latest updates.
The circular has been issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE, and shared with Indian embassies and consulates across the affected Middle East countries.
