The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited all affiliated schools to participate in the National Cyber Awareness Grand Challenge 2026, an initiative by the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Project under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The challenge aims to promote cyber safety, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible digital citizenship among students across the country. It provides a national platform where students can showcase their creativity by developing awareness campaigns, posters, videos, presentations, digital content, and other communication materials focused on online safety.
Apart from enhancing cyber awareness, the competition also encourages students to build important 21st-century skills such as design thinking, innovation, problem-solving, communication, and digital responsibility.
CBSE has requested all affiliated schools to widely share this opportunity with students and motivate them to participate actively. Registration details, participation guidelines, and brochures in both English and Hindi are available on the official challenge portal.
The Board believes that initiatives like these help students become informed, responsible, and cyber-aware digital citizens while contributing to a safer online environment for everyone.
