The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important advisory addressing the growing spread of misleading and factually incorrect information on social media platforms related to examinations and evaluation processes.
According to the Board, it has come to notice that certain individuals, including those not directly associated with the evaluation process or even those engaged in digital evaluation, are sharing unverified and false content online. Such actions are creating unnecessary confusion among students, parents, and schools, while also impacting the credibility of the examination system.
CBSE has clearly stated that the dissemination of any false or misleading information regarding examinations or evaluation processes is strictly prohibited. The Board has also warned against the unauthorized use of CBSE’s Name, Logo, or Images of its buildings to Mislead the Public.
The advisory emphasizes that anyone found involved in such activities will face legal action under relevant laws.
Furthermore, CBSE has urged all stakeholders not to trust or circulate information that does not come from its official communication channels. All verified updates will only be published through CBSE’s official website and authorized platforms.
The Board has called for full cooperation from students, parents, educators, and the public in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the examination system by avoiding the spread of unverified information.
