The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of its annual free Psycho-Social Counseling Services for students of Class 10 and Class 12, starting from 6 January 2026 to 1 June 2026.
This initiative reinforces CBSE’s commitment toward student well-being, helping examinees manage exam-related anxiety and stress ahead of the Theory Exams beginning 17 February 2026.
The counseling program ensures that students remain mentally prepared, confident, and emotionally balanced throughout the exam cycle.
Key Features of CBSE Counseling Support
1️⃣ 24×7 Toll-Free Helpline (IVRS) — 1800-11-8004
Students may call 1800 11 8004 anytime (Hindi & English)
The service includes:
✔ Tips for stress-free exam preparation
✔ Time and stress-management guidance
✔ Answers to common exam queries
✔ Important CBSE contact information
This support is available round-the-clock for students.
2️⃣ Tele-Counseling (Mon–Fri | 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
Students and parents can directly interact with a panel of 73 trained counselors, including:
• Principals
• Counselors
• Special Educators
• Psychologists
📍 61 counselors are in India
📍 12 counselors are abroad — Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman & UAE
All counseling services are voluntary and confidential.
