The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the postponement of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for 02 March 2026 in several Middle East countries due to the current situation in the region.
According to an official circular issued by CBSE on 01 March 2026, the decision applies to schools affiliated with CBSE in the following countries:
- Bahrain
- Iran
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The Board has clarified that both Class X and Class XII examinations scheduled for Monday, 02 March 2026, have been postponed, and the new examination dates will be announced later.
Students appearing for CBSE board exams in these countries are advised to stay in regular contact with their respective schools and follow official CBSE announcements for further updates.
The circular has been issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, CBSE, and the information has also been shared with Indian embassies and consulates across the affected Middle East countries.
CBSE emphasized that the decision has been taken keeping student safety and regional circumstances in mind.
