The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released a special datesheet for Class XII students who were unable to appear in their board examinations due to participation in National or International sports events.
As per the official notification dated 27 March 2026, this provision is for students who were granted exemption during the main examination of the academic session 2025–26.
CBSE has scheduled the examinations for such students on 11th April 2026 and 13th April 2026.
Schools have been instructed to inform all eligible students about this special datesheet. These students will appear for their exams at the same examination centres that were already allotted to them earlier.
CBSE has also clarified that:
- Students must download fresh admit cards before appearing for the exams
- It is mandatory for all eligible students to appear
- If a student remains absent, their result will be declared as per CBSE Examination Bye-laws
This initiative ensures that students representing the country in sports do not face academic loss and get a fair opportunity to complete their board examinations.
