The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued another reminder to all affiliated schools regarding the accurate submission of student data in the List of Candidates (LOC) for the academic session 2025-26 for Class X and XII examinations.
This notification follows the earlier circular dated 27th August 2025 and the first reminder issued on 11th September 2025. CBSE has emphasized that errors in LOC submission can cause major complications for students and must be avoided at all costs.
Steps Already Taken by CBSE to Ensure Accuracy:
- Issuing detailed circulars to schools.
- Disseminating reminders through e-Sandesh.
- Sending reminders via WhatsApp from Regional Offices.
- Weekly reminders sent to all schools.
- Letters issued to parents through schools to ensure accuracy of student information.
Key Instructions for Schools:
- Principals must thoroughly review the LOC Notification CBSE/LOC/X-XII/2025-26 dated 27.08.2025 before filling candidate details.
- Staff responsible for entering data must be well aware of guidelines to avoid spelling mistakes, wrong DOB entries, or incorrect subject codes.
- No correction window will be available after the schedule of the data verification slip is over. Hence, schools must maintain accuracy and timeliness.
CBSE has made it clear that once the correction timeline closes, no changes in student name, parents’ names, DOB, or subject details will be entertained. Schools must therefore ensure correct and verified submissions at the initial stage itself.
