The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a revision in the examination schedule for select subjects of Class X and Class XII that were earlier planned for 03 March 2026. As per the official notification issued on 29 December 2025, the dates have now been rescheduled due to administrative reasons.
The revised exam dates are as follows:
- Class X:
Earlier Date — 03 March 2026
New Date — 11 March 2026 - Class XII:
Earlier Date — 03 March 2026
New Date — 10 April 2026
CBSE has clarified that all other examination dates remain unchanged. Schools affiliated with CBSE have been requested to inform students and parents at the earliest so that they may plan accordingly.
The revised date sheets are also being updated officially and the corrected dates will be reflected in the Admit Cards at the time of issuance.
The Board has sought the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations.
