Maa Sharda Children College, Jalalabad has proudly won the District-Level Kho-Kho Championship 2025 (women) organised by the Gazipur Public School Association. The final match was held on 15 November 2025 at Dhaneshwar International School, Sirgitha.
A total of 20 teams from across the district participated in the competition. The girls’ team from Maa Sharda Children College showed excellent performance throughout the tournament. They first won the quarter-final against MJRP Public School, Ghazipur, then defeated Dhaneshwar International School, Sirgitha in the semi-finals, and finally defeated SS Dev Public School, Zamania in the grand final to claim the championship title.
When the winning team returned to the school, they received a warm welcome with flowers and applause. Teachers, students, and parents celebrated the success together. The school’s Managing Director, Mr. Brijesh Kushwaha, and Manager, Mr. Suraj Maurya praised the students and motivated them to continue working hard for their bright future. Principal Mr. Rampratap Maurya congratulated the entire team and said this achievement has brought great pride to the school.
The sports teacher Mr. Pratik Kumar and team manager Shrishti Vishwakarma were appreciated for their dedication, guidance, and support throughout the matches. On this occasion, the school’s Vice Principal Mr. Ashok Yadav, Mr. Praveen Kumar Giri, Mr. Shyamlal Chauhan, Mr. Dharmendra Yadav, Mr. Ramji Yadav, Mr. Avshesh Yadav, Ms. Shreya Jaiswal, Ms. Jyoti Maurya, Mr. Suryabhan Chauhan, Mr. Akhilesh Kumar, along with other members of the school family, were present. With this remarkable victory, the school has brought pride to the entire region.
