The newly activated IPS Centre Final 2026 portal has been introduced to streamline payment processing and ensure timely release of remuneration, conveyance allowances, refreshments, and other related expenses to exam centres and staff.
Purpose of the Integrated Payment System (IPS)
CBSE introduced the IPS portal to enhance transparency and efficiency in releasing payments related to board examinations. The Board has also revised the rates of remuneration, conveyance, and refreshment allowances, which will now be applicable from the Board Examinations 2026 onwards.

CBSE has released the following timeline for schools to complete their submissions:
- Submission and Freezing of Data by Schools:
April 22, 2026 to May 6, 2026 - Re-freezing Window (In Case of Failed Payments):
May 8, 2026 to May 15, 2026
Schools must strictly adhere to the above schedule to ensure that payments are processed without delays.

CBSE has issued important instructions for schools to ensure smooth payment processing:
- Schools must complete data entry and freeze records within the given timeline.
- Bank account details must be entered carefully to avoid payment failures.
- Principals are required to personally verify all submitted data before freezing it on the portal.
- Any errors in bank details or records may result in delayed payments.
