The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of the ‘3030 Eklavya – Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ Online Series in collaboration with the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL), IIT Gandhinagar. The initiative aims to strengthen students’ and teachers’ understanding of Computational Thinking, Artificial Intelligence and STEM through engaging, inquiry-based learning activities.
The online series is part of CBSE’s broader efforts to develop AI-ready learners by building skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, pattern recognition, critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Who Can Participate?
The programme is targeted at teachers and students of Classes 6 and above. Participation in the programme is voluntary, while registration is free but compulsory for those wishing to avail themselves of the programme.
8 Online Sessions to Be Conducted
A total of 8 live episodes will be conducted as part of the 3030 Eklavya series.
- Episode 1: Computational Thinking and AI with Matchboxes
- Date: 15 August 2026
- Day: Saturday
- Time: 4:00 PM
- Other Episodes: Every Sunday from 4:00 PM onwards
- Language: Hindi, with English subtitles available after publication
The sessions will use practical and conceptual activities to help participants understand CT, AI and STEM in an accessible and engaging manner.
Registration and Certification
Teachers and students can register and access programme details through the official programme website. For CBSE-affiliated school teachers, participation may be counted as 3 CPD training hours per episode under school-based training, provided the participant earns the certificate and their name is included in the CCL-IIT Gandhinagar database.
After completion of homework/assignments, participants can also obtain certificates. The participation certificate for all 8 episodes is available at a fee of ₹200 plus applicable taxes. A certificate of competency will also be issued to teachers who fulfil the prescribed norms.

Interested teachers and students can register through the official 3030 Eklavya programme website. CBSE has also requested affiliated schools to encourage teachers and students to make suitable use of this voluntary enrichment programme.
