SKD Vidya Mandir organized an engaging and informative workshop on Friday to introduce students to the exciting world of space research and technology. The session provided detailed insights into the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and its remarkable journey in the field of space science.
During the workshop, students had the opportunity to observe various scientific models including rockets, satellites, and land rovers, helping them understand how space missions are designed and executed.
Under the guidance of ISRO Space Foundation, speaker Mr. Subhash Singh presented the evolution of India’s space science — from the early contributions of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, to the development of launch vehicles like ASLV, PSLV, RSLV, and the currently advanced QSLV systems.
He explained complex concepts of space technology in a simple and interactive manner, keeping students inspired and curious. The workshop also provided guidance on career opportunities in ISRO and the space research field, encouraging students to aim high and contribute to India’s scientific progress.
The program saw dedicated efforts and support from Shri Shrikant Singh, Devangan, Krishnamurari, Rajesh, Anand, and Bhartendu, whose contributions ensured the success of the event.
