The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a further extension of the deadline for submitting applications under various categories of school affiliation for the academic session 2026–27 via the SARAS 6.0 portal.
Earlier, through Circular No. 06/2025 dated 11 March 2025 and Circular No. 08/2025 dated 26 June 2025, CBSE had provided timelines for the application process, with the extended deadline initially set as 31st July 2025.
Now, with this new circular (No. 15/2025), CBSE has officially extended the timeline further to 20th August 2025. This applies to all categories of applications for affiliation.
This decision has been made with the approval of the competent authority, offering schools additional time to complete and submit their online applications on the SARAS 6.0 portal.
