The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Corrigendum-2 and a Public Notice for the Recruitment of Various Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). These updates apply to Recruitment Notification 01/2025, originally issued on 13 November 2025.
According to the revised notification, qualification requirements for several posts—including Assistant Commissioner, Principal, PGTs (Hindi, English, Commerce), TGTs (Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Physical Education), and Junior Secretariat Assistant—have now been aligned for both KVS and NVS.
This change will allow applicants to submit online applications for these posts in both departments simultaneously.
CBSE has also clarified that candidates who have already completed all steps of the application process under the earlier eligibility criteria will still be allowed to participate in the selection process.

- Unified eligibility requirements for KVS and NVS across multiple posts.
- Revision in upper age limits, educational qualifications, integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. criteria, and experience requirements for leadership positions.
- Updated eligibility for PGT & TGT subjects, including provisions for integrated courses and CTET Paper-II qualification.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant post now reaffirmed with Class 12 pass + required typing speed.
✔ Application Deadline Extended
As per the latest Public Notice, the last date for online application submission has been extended to 11 December 2025 (11:59 PM).
Applicants who had earlier applied for only one of the two bodies (KVS or NVS) will now be provided an option on the portal to submit applications for both where applicable.
