The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results of the Class XII Supplementary Examinations for the session 2024–2025 today, Friday, 01 August 2025.
Who appeared in the exam?
The supplementary exams were conducted for three main categories of students:
- Those who failed in one of the five mandatory subjects and were placed in the Compartment Category.
- Students with six subjects, who passed by replacement of the main subject with an additional subject.
- Students who had already passed but wished to improve their performance—now allowed to do so within the same year rather than waiting for the next main exam.
Exam Conduct Date:
The supplementary exams for all Class XII subjects were held on 15th July 2025 across India and 26 other countries.
Result Declaration Timeline:
CBSE has efficiently declared the results within just two weeks of conducting the examination.

Marksheet & Certificate Distribution:
- Regular students: Will receive their mark sheet-cum-passing certificate via their respective schools.
- Private candidates (Delhi): Will collect their documents from their exam centres.
- Private candidates (outside Delhi): Will receive documents by post at the address mentioned in their application forms.
Verification of Marks:
The verification process will begin from 6th August 2025, and a separate circular will be released soon.
