The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a series of surprise inspections across 10 schools in 5 States and 1 Union Territory on 13th August 2025.
A total of 10 inspection teams—each comprising a CBSE officer and a Principal from an affiliated school—were deployed. The inspections were executed simultaneously within a short time frame to maintain the element of surprise and capture an accurate picture of school functioning and operations.
Objective of Inspections
The primary aim was to ensure that schools are:
- Functioning in compliance with CBSE Bye-Laws
- Not enrolling non-attending students
- Maintaining adequate academic and physical infrastructure
CBSE emphasized that these surprise checks are a part of its commitment to upholding educational standards and taking strict action against any violations.

- Shri Ram Global School, Whitefield, Karnataka
- Sanskar Public School, Naugaon, Madhya Pradesh

- Aditya English Medium School, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra
- Delhi World Public School, Nerul (West), Maharashtra
- Crimson Anisha Global School, Undri, Pune, Maharashtra
- Jupiter Public School, Khurda, Odisha
Next Steps
The reports of the Inspection Committee are under review, and necessary action will be taken based on the findings.
CBSE reaffirmed its stance on stringent enforcement of norms to maintain transparency, discipline, and quality standards across affiliated schools.
