The District Basic Education Officer (DBEO), Varanasi has issued an official order regarding school timings due to severe cold, cold waves, and continuous fog in the district.
As per the order, all schools in Varanasi—Government, Aided, Recognized, Unaided, CBSE, ICSE, and other Board Schools—from Primary to Class 12 will follow revised school timings.
🗓 Effective Date: 19 December 2025
⏰ Revised Timing: From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
📍 Applicable Area: Varanasi District
The decision has been taken to ensure the Safety and Health of students during extreme winter conditions. The revised timing will remain in force until further orders.
All school heads and authorities have been instructed to strictly follow this order.
