Universal Public School, Baburi has successfully conducted the SAFAL (Structured Assessment for Analyzing Learning) examination, as introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the academic session 2025.
The SAFAL initiative is a landmark step by CBSE to evaluate learning outcomes of students in Classes 6 and 9, focusing on conceptual understanding, application, and analytical thinking rather than rote memorization.
At Universal Public School, the SAFAL examination was carried out smoothly under CBSE guidelines. The assessment covered key subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English, integrating NCERT-based competency questions designed to help students reflect their actual learning levels.
Teachers at the school believe that SAFAL acts as a bridge between foundational learning and board-level assessment, helping students prepare early for their Class 10 and 12 board examinations. It encourages critical thinking, real-life application, and self-analysis of strengths and weaknesses—skills crucial for academic success in higher classes.
Speaking on the occasion, the school management expressed pride in being part of this national initiative. “Our students gained a clearer understanding of exam patterns and the importance of concept clarity. SAFAL truly prepares them for the competitive academic future ahead,” they said.
