The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. According to the official notification, CTET 2026 will be conducted on 06 September 2026 (Sunday) for both Paper-I and Paper-II.
CBSE informed that the online application process for CTET 2026 will begin from 11 May 2026, while the last date to submit the application form is 10 June 2026 till 11:59 PM.
The examination will be conducted in 27 languages across 132 cities throughout India. CBSE has also stated that if the number of applicants increases significantly, the examination may additionally be conducted on 05 September 2026 (Saturday).
