The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed schools about a special five-day online training programme titled “Beyond Labels: Understanding 5Ds (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, and Developmental Aphasia)”, being organized by the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT.
The programme will be conducted from 15 June to 19 June 2026, from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM daily, through online live sessions. The initiative aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016, aiming to strengthen awareness about diverse learning needs among educators.
The training will focus on the early identification of learning difficulties, understanding classroom challenges, learner experiences, and practical strategies for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. Teachers will gain valuable insights into supporting students affected by Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, and Developmental Aphasia.
The sessions will be conducted in both Hindi and English and will include Indian Sign Language (ISL) interpretation to ensure accessibility for all participants.

Participants scoring 70% or above in the quiz conducted after the programme will receive an e-Certificate.
