The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a Corrigendum-I and a Public Notice regarding the ongoing recruitment for various teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under Recruitment Notification 01/2025.
The corrigendum highlights several important corrections related to eligibility criteria, required documents, skill test details, and qualifications for specific posts.
Key Corrections Mentioned in Corrigendum-I
1. CTET Requirement Updated (Page 13 – Point B)
- Existing: CTET Paper-I qualification mentioned incorrectly for TGT posts.
- Revised:
Candidates must be Qualified in CTET Paper-II, conducted by CBSE, for TGT (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, and Regional Languages).
2. Scribe ID Proof Submission Updated (Page 30 – Serial No. 14(i))
- Existing: Scribe’s ID proof to be submitted with Appendix-Q.
- Revised: ID proof must be submitted with Proforma-V-F, as mentioned in the detailed notification on CBSE/KVS/NVS websites.
3. Assistant Engineer (Civil) – Qualification & Pay Scale Corrections (Page 20)
- Existing: Incorrect pay scale and incomplete qualification details.
- Revised:
- Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil)
- Pay Level: Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)
- Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
- Qualification:
- Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute
- 2 years of experience in design/engineering in a Govt. department or recognized organization
4. Skill Test Corrections for Stenographers (Page 27)
Stenographer Grade-I
- Shorthand: 10 min @ 100 w.p.m.
- Transcription: 50 min English / 65 min Hindi (Computer)
- Typing Speed: 45 w.p.m. in English/Hindi
Stenographer Grade-II
- Shorthand: 10 min @ 80 w.p.m.
- Transcription: 50 min English / 65 min Hindi (Computer)
- Typing Speed: English 40 w.p.m. / Hindi 35 w.p.m.
Public Notice: Tier-1 Exam Dates Announced
CBSE has also informed that the Tier-1 examinations for all teaching and non-teaching posts under this recruitment will be held on:
