The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled two flagship initiatives to boost career guidance and enhance psychosocial well-being in its affiliated schools for the 2025–26 academic session.
The two initiatives are:
- CBSE Career Guidance Dashboard – A comprehensive online platform offering students access to a wide range of tools, resources, and information for career exploration and decision-making.
🔗 Visit here: https://cbsecareerguidance.in/ - CBSE Counseling Hub & Spoke School Model – A collaborative framework designed to strengthen mental health support systems in schools. It connects mentor hub schools with spoke schools to foster peer learning, capacity building, and exchange of best practices in student wellness.
Objective of the Initiatives:
- Support informed career choices among students.
- Provide holistic psychosocial well-being support.
- Build institutional capacity among educators, counselors, and wellness teachers.
- Align with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for well-rounded, future-ready learners.
Implementation Call:
CBSE has requested all affiliated schools to:
- Actively implement the Counseling Hub & Spoke School Model.
- Use the Career Guidance Dashboard to integrate structured guidance into school programs.
- Promote sustained guidance and emotional support systems for students.
