The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in partnership with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, is hosting a Virtual Mental Health Series from 4th to 10th October 2025 to mark World Mental Health Week.
This initiative aims to enhance mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and equip school communities with practical strategies to foster psychological resilience. Sessions will be led by experts from AIIMS’ Department of Psychiatry and Counselling Services, addressing various aspects of school mental health.
Objectives of the Series:
- Promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health.
- Equip principals, teachers, counselors, parents, and students with practical tools and strategies.
- Encourage positive mental health practices within school environments.
Key Highlights:
- Daily sessions from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. IST.
- Evidence-based discussions on contemporary mental health challenges in schools.
- Interactive and accessible virtual sessions for all CBSE-affiliated schools.
