CBSE Webinar to Strengthen Career Guidance in Schools
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organising a webinar on Career Guidance for school leaders, educators and school counsellors as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen career guidance and counselling at the school level.
The initiative is aligned with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023), which emphasise career awareness, guidance and exposure to diverse pathways of learning and work.
The webinar will familiarise participants with initiatives of the Ministry of Education, including the My Career Advisor mobile app and Tamanna – Try And Measure Aptitude And Natural Abilities, an aptitude test for students of Classes IX and X.

Participants will learn about the key features and functionalities of the app and its effective use for student career exploration and guidance.
Tamanna Aptitude Test
The session will cover the purpose and significance of the Tamanna aptitude test, its assessment process and interpretation of results for career guidance.
Career Guidance Handbooks and Resources
The webinar will also discuss the relevance of Career Guidance Handbooks and other resources and their effective use by counsellors, teachers and other school-level functionaries to support students in making informed educational and career choices.
CBSE Encourages School Participation
CBSE has advised Principals and Heads of all affiliated schools to disseminate information about the webinar among relevant stakeholders and encourage concerned school functionaries to participate.
